Wow. It appears that this is my third post in a row. What’s happened to everyone else? Damn. Ah well, I like the limelight, now and again.

When I was younger, I was stupid enough to consider myself lucky because I never had ‘the talk’ with my mother. My sister was there to teach me the awkward life lessons of sex, and I picked up other things as I went along. But, oh, weren’t there things  I didn’t see coming? There were so many life lessons I now wish that my mum would have prepared me for.

You Can’t HANDLE The Truth!

A popular saying that has a true meaning. A lot of the time, people demand the truth from others, since the satisfaction of not being in the lurch is sure to make them feel better than anything that is actually being said. However, once they know the truth, it seems fit that they scurry away and pretend that they never heard it in the first place. Oh how I love hypocrisy.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

hamptoncourt

Oh no, wait a second. I wasn’t considering the fact that it doesn’t snow in Hong Kong – ever. It will rain, to the point where it’s actually dangerous to be on the streets, but they won’t freeze it and give me a blizzard. I’m pretty sure I would be prepared to murder for a blizzard, just so that I could get that smooth sheet of pure snow when I wake up in the morning. I remember the sparse moments when it snowed in South-East England, and you looked out of your window at six in the morning to see the sets of footprints in the snow.

The Story of the Thirsty

Now and then I’ll dedicate my posts to one of my passions and philosophies – to be part of the African solution. Don’t look at this past 10PM or your stomach will hate you for it

Not unlike Kathleen’s mini Aim For Next Week section, I think it’s time I introduced something similar for my posts:

What I intended to post about:
My top ten foods of all time.
But: Exactly how am I supposed to pick just ten?
What I’m really going to posting about: The first few foods that come to mind.

Let’s start with:

Fantasy Fro-Yo

Last night, I had a rather upsetting dream.

It was about Fro-Yo.

Now before you gape in shock at the above oxymoron, or make any immediate judgments about the cool rather unusual subject of my dream, I ask you to first listen to this scarring subconscious encounter.

I was buying fro-yo. I guess this was Yo Mama instead of Berry Good, because I only ordered two toppings for $40 instead of three. The specific TNC at which I purchased this cup of oral delight was much less important to me than the actual cup itself, clearly.

I Feel Like A Zombie

Last night had to have been one of the most disturbing nights of my life. Mainly because I was partially confronted with a very dramatic scene. In very teenage fashion, I was up at about one in the morning, typing my arse off to meet a deadline. Anyway, while procrastinating – even at that hour – when I was met with the most horrendous scream. Here’s where it began.
