What Was and What Could’ve Been of the GSIS Y11 Dinner Dance 2009

What was our Dinner Dance like?

Well, we indulged in a delectable meal, (this is the part where I actually have to start thinking) handed out some extremely well-earned awards, were massively entertained by Jeremy’s infamously beloved stories about his goldfish and his day, listened to a few well-orated speeches, listened to Sachin and I, watched while some rather embarrassing pictures of the year group appeared on power point, and… danced like a bunch of orangutans high on red bull. I think I don’t just speak for myself when I say that all in all, our dinner dance was a highly delightful and enjoyable evening which will remain a fond memory for the rest of our days.

Not for long.

Little did you know that while you were savouring your wonderful meal, or laughing at with Jeremy’s inexplicably, impossibly hilarious account of his morning, you were all SO close to experiencing a Dinner Dance that could’ve gone horribly, agonizingly, disastrously wrong.

And today, I think you have the right to know why.

GSIS Year 11 Dinner Dance 2009 QUIZ

I kind of already forgot some of the answers to this quiz, but I’ll find them all out by next Monday and publish the answers on my next post.

I think this quiz is sufficient explanation for my statement above.

No doubt your egos would’ve been severely wounded by this quiz. Here’s a little pick-me-up that I highly recommend:

I think this site is exactly what the world should be all about.

Hello! So usually this section is always kinda awkward to write cuz you never know what to write and you either end up sounding like a really exciting person or just completely put people off you so what I've decided to do is just waffle on for a meaningless paragraph or so cuz I figured if you knew how I rambled you'd decide for yourself how cool I am and I mean I personally think I'm pretty cool but just warning you right I'm not really the yes world peace and let's discuss political issues type person that's not to say I have no zest for life or whatever I do have my beliefs and advocates however it's just I prefer not to make full blown debates out of it is all so don't really expect anything too up-to-date-with-recent-news though I can talk about pretty profound things if I'd like to hmmmm anyway I'm Charmaine btw toodleloo

No words can describe my thoughts at the time of writing this comment, save one: WTF????????!!!!!! I must say, I am extremely glad that Jeremy stepped in with his harrowing tale of Tomato the Goldfish.

You actually spent time counting TABLES in the Old Gym?
    That is just depressing. ><"

I have to agree with JJ. You should invite Jeremy again for your Yr 13 Grad.
